These are notes from a small cabin on a lake in southern Finland, kept by someone who spends as much of the year there as work allows.

There is no schedule and no subject beyond the place itself: the ice, the sauna, the forest, the light. Nothing here is advice. If you intend to walk on a frozen lake, ask somebody local and measure the ice.

The site is a handful of plain pages with no tracking, no comments and no newsletter.
